Positions available -
-Assistant to Operations & Educational Program Director, Media Content Manager 

This position is remarkably fast-paced and requires an acute sense of detail, organization, time management, and a high level of customer service, as this position deals predominantly with guest relations. Each position at CCK requires good stamina to work through hot temperatures. Some heavy lifting is involved. It is very important to us that you are a self-starter and willing to work as a team and jump in as a leader. Strong telephone etiquette is desired.  

This position has multiple titles, and you would be responsible for the following: As the assistant to operations, educational programs director, and media content manager, you will work intimately with the owner and manager to make sure day-to-day operations are running as smoothly as possible. The operation aspect of this role will include tasks such as answering the phone and emails, dealing with online orders, processing new inventory, merchandising the sales floor, etc. With this position, you will be on the sales floor but predominantly working in the office. It is essential to have a good familiarity with all of the products we have in store to ensure the best experience for each guest. As the educational program director, you are responsible for managing all paperwork and happenings surrounding our week-long kid's program and scheduling adult classes and lessons with students and instructors. As the media content creator, you will analyze media data trends to align with business goals and oversee the design of social media accounts. You will also generate original content to edit, publish and post daily, engage and communicate with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and collaborate with owners and managers to ensure brand consistency. 
The position is full-time, on a seasonal basis. It starts Mid - Late April. Must be available to work weekends and occasional evenings.
 

-Sales Specialist

This position requires a self-starter, one with exceptional customer service skills. It is very fast-paced, and it is important to us that you have the confidence to talk one on one with customers as you will be on the retail floor daily. Heavy lifting is frequent, and stamina in hot weather is necessary. As a retail specialist, you must be able to adapt quickly to accommodate each guest's needs. It is essential to have a good familiarity with all of the products we have in store to ensure the best experience for each guest. Our goal is to send each customer away with what products best fit their needs. It is important to us that you are creative, mechanically inclined, and have strong phone etiquette. Having familiarity with a cash drawer and POS system is preferred. 

Being a member of our retail team, duties will include, being responsible for working 1-on-1 with customers to outfit them with a boat/board, roof rack, and/or accessories, merchandising the boat barn, organizing boat inventory, restocking products, working with roof rack systems, and trailers, loading boats onto customer vehicles, conducting transactions and answering the phone.  
The position is seasonal. It starts Mid - Late April. Must be available to work weekends and occasional evenings. Full and part-time positions available.


- Rental Staff

This position requires a self-starter, one with great customer service skills and who works very well as a team player with good time management. It is very fast-paced, and it is important to us that you are outgoing and have the confidence to talk one on one with customers as you will be making sure they are outfitted and comfortable as they embark on their rental experience. It is imperative that you can manage lots of heavy lifting over long periods of time, with large objects such as canoes and kayaks. Good stamina in hot weather is also necessary. It is important to us that you are mechanically inclined. Paddling experience is desired but not necessary as we can show you the ropes. 

Being a member of our rental staff, you will be responsible for setting up the ramp for the day, greeting customers, fitting them for applicable PFD’s and paddles, assisting renters in and out of boats/boards on the ramp, providing basic paddling instruction, and conducting an efficient ramp clean up at the end of each day. The position is seasonal. Starts Late April - Early May. Must be available to work weekends and occasional evenings. Full and part-time positions available.


- Experienced Instructors for our Adult Paddling Program
We are seeking experienced instructors who are outgoing and enjoy working with people. This position requires safety-conscious individuals who can provide a high level of customer service and the ability to work as a team player and work alongside the Program Coordinator and retail employees. The position starts in May.

- Experienced Instructors for our Kids Paddling Program
We are seeking experienced instructors who are outgoing and enjoy working with kids. This position requires safety-conscious individuals with a high level of customer service and the ability to work as a team player and work alongside the Program Coordinator and retail employees. The position starts in June and continues through August.
